Larry studied for 2 years at Humber College, and then furthered his studies at North Texas State University and 3 summers at the Manhattan School of Music’s jazz program. His teaching skills include blues, jazz, classical, basic theory and harmony. He has performed extensively throughout Canada, and the United States, toured Germany, Cairo, Cyprus and Israel in the Frontline Show during the Gulf War. He has played and recorded with such names as Downchild Blues Band, Muddy Waters, Shakura S’aida, Betty Lavette and Canada’s own Lighthouse, plus dozens of local and international artists.

Larry leads his own Toronto based Jazz Quartet, specializing in bebop and jazz standards. In the past, the quartet ha performed in venues for the TD Downtown Jazz Festival. Among other engagements, his rock, blues and jazz stylings have found him performing for Classic Albums Live “Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon”, BigDaddy’s Crabshack, and the Trane Jazz Studio Bar.
